This street named Pizarro crosses the main square and goes all the way until the Plazuela El Recreo. Along this street you will find a mix of classical colony architecture, with big windows and wooden porches. The major of the city closed 4 blocks so people can walk without air pollution and terrible noise of yellow taxis.

I like that idea of closing the roads off for pedestrians - we have that sometimes when there are big events - the roads are closed off for a block party with food and entertainment!
It is a good idea to close the road so people has a chance to have fresh air. Greetings from Stavanger.

Great shot. We have one shopping street that is closed to most traffic - only buses are allowed on Fulton Street.
