The curtains of the Sun

Grey Sunset

100_0854copia

Trujillo is in the coast and has a lot of beaches. But what I like of them is something not very usual. I enjoy sunsets without sun, when it decides to hide behind the fog and soft shadows. Our winter is generous, and the absence of sun too. So ironic, so magic. You have to visit Huanchaco so you can see this sunset.

The Man and the Huaca

This man called José works with some plants that grow in Moche, a town located 10 kilometers from Trujillo. He knits baskets with dried stems. His ability of craftsmanship is a legacy of his moche ancestors. Behind him is the Huaca de la Luna (The Huaca of the Moon). On the opposite side of the pic is the Huaca of the Sun. The Huaca of the Moon is close to the APRA hill, a very well known hill in Trujillo.
